Netflix has made an official announcement of The Witcher season 4 very casually while informing us that Liam Hemsworth will be playing the role of Geralt instead of Henry Cavill.
That was a new tactic used by Netflix to announce indirectly in October 2022 that season 4 has definitely been renewed.
What Is The Speculated Cast of Witcher Season 4?
We are already aware that Henry Cavill will not be there in season 4 as Liam Hemsworth will be taking over his role of Geralt.
However, the remaining season 3 cast will not be disturbed, including Anya Chalotra and Freya Allen, who play Yennifer and Ciri.
Plus, other cast members, such as Mecia Simpson and Bart Edwards, who play Francesca and Emhyr, are more likely to be there in season 4.

However, The duration between seasons 1 to 2 and seasons 2 to 3 has been two years now as it takes shows like The Witcher a little more time with special effects.
Plus, the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strike as of July 2023 has slowed down the process too. So, until streaming Networks and producers fulfill the people’s demands on strike, things can’t go any further.
If the script of The Witcher Season 4 had been completed before the WGA strike, Netflix might shorten some parts of Season 4 if the actors were not involved. However, these are just ifs and Buts are reliable in this matter.
The safest option would be to assume that the next season won’t be premiered for at least two years.
