And if you already have an Instagram account, you can immediately sign up for Threads using the same credentials. But remember, if you want to delete the platform, then that’s only done through deleting Instagram.

Threads is getting a lot of backlash due to its striking similarity with Twitter. There is one thing to be inspired, but Zuckerberg has seemed to hit copy-paste. (That’s what most people believe.)

1. Device Compatibility
The web was always compatible since Twitter was launched way before the App Store or Google Play Store existed.
However, I cannot say the same for Threads. So, if you were looking for ways to sign up on Threads through the web or desktop, then I have some bad news for you.
2. Pricing Plan
Threads is a free application, so rest assured you are not restricted from paid features. Likewise, threads don’t include any advertisements either.
However, Twitter is the opposite. You can either go for a monthly subscription ($8) or an annual subscription ($84): WEB VERSION. Additionally, the pricing plan for iOS & Android is Monthly: $11 & Annual: $114.
And by purchasing these subscription plans, Twitter lifts all their imposed restrictions:

Final Verdict: Who is Better? (Twitter or Threads)
If I consider all the free features of both platforms, then Threads beats Twitter with its character limit, video upload length, and image upload quantity.
However, the paid features of Twitter are 10x times better than Threads’ free ones.
Likewise, Twitter is leading in terms of being compatible with Web/ Desktop versions and the ability to message someone directly. Apart from all this, many users consider Twitter space to be aggressive and always ready to impose their unwarranted views.
On the flip side, Threads maintains a very calm and friendly vibe.
If you ask me, which platform is better? I will be biased towards Twitter.
And all because I think Twitter is a lot more passionate than the blandness of Threads. I understand sometimes the passion gets out of hand, but in my opinion, that’s the beauty of Twitter. And as someone who has a fan account, trust me, Threads doesn’t do justice.
Building a separate community on Threads with all your mutuals will be another task I don’t feel like enduring. At least right now. You are free to test both platforms and decide what suits you best.
