It wasn’t even a few months after Season 5 had been released when the Chairman of the Entertainment Network officially announced the discontinuation of the series.

What Is The Reason Behind Queen Of South Season 6 Canceling?
The prime reason behind Queen of South Season 6 was canceled because the network stopped focusing on original dramas. In fact, one of the show’s co-runners (Dailyn Rodriguez) expressed happiness actually giving the show a clean climax.
She said, “It brought me an enormous amount of peace, ending the series this way. I think that our series can be so dark, violent, and sad on many levels— it starts in a very sad place with what happens to Teresa in the pilot— but there’s also so much beauty within it.”
Will There Be A Spin Off For Queen Of South Season 6?
As of now, there is no official news on the Queen of South Spin-off.
However, many viewers believe Teresa’s story is not completely done yet. There is so much more that can be shown. And this is why one of the fans suggested Queen of South to get a revival.
Additionally, the revival can focus on Teresa’s past life and what she has been hiding. Other than that, Queen of South also introduced Devon Lynch, whose story seems unfinished too, which can be covered in the revival too. That being said, these are just suggestions.

Queen of the South is indeed over. The news was officially out when the Entertainment News Chairman disclosed the Queen of the South discontinuation. Another co-maker expressed her happiness over the show getting a proper finale.
