Currently, the most probable GTA 6 release date is between April 1, 2024, and March 31, 2025 as per the recent announcement by Take-Two Interactive. However, it wasn’t a direct statement.
Take-Two Interactive is a parent company of Rockstar Games that develops various games and then sells them to Rockstar Games.
Therefore, Take-Two Interactive shared that they expect a vast income flow of almost $8 billion in Fiscal year 2025. And, of course, such a wobbling amount can be all directed to the GTA 6 release.
Now, you may say that this is just a theory. However, recent leaks confirm that the Game is under development. If you are unaware of the leaks (Yeah, it’s unethical), I will briefly explain the storyline and rumors going around.
GTA 6 Story Rumors (What Took It So Long?)
The creators of GTA are rolling out the updates for GTA 5 regularly. The recent introduction was an AI-built interface where you can talk to civilians in the city. Yes, AI is almost everywhere now!
The stakes are high with GTA 6 as well; the creators can’t release an edition that doesn’t exceed the fans’ expectations. They are still working on the game development to make it all worthy for the game fanatics. This is the reason that GTA 6 is taking this long.
It has been a decade now that we have been waiting. However, the wait is nearly over.
As per the videos, GTA 6 will feature the modern-day Vice City, which will be different than the usual. The setup won’t be the same as the 80s version.
Two protagonists will progress in the story, and it is speculated that these two characters will pair together to build a drug empire in Vice City. However, apart from this, there isn’t much information available now.

Do you remember playing GTA Vice City some years back? There was always a male protagonist. However, in GTA 6, you will get two protagonists, Jasona and Lucia.
Lucia’s character marks the first time a playable female protagonist features in GTA’s history. Consequently, GTA 6 will showcase the characters to advance through the storyline as a pair.
The discussion for GTA to have a co-op is an interesting one. So, you get to control these characters and complete your heists. However, all the other characters in the Game will be operated by AI.
GTA 6 Updated Features
The leaked video indicates that GTA 6 will come with loads of features. However, that is just the tip of the iceberg. We can expect some improved graphics and new weapons in the upcoming version.
Apparently, the assault rifles will be seen like never before with the Protagonists. And blimey! The best part, the earnings from the Game will be directly transferred to your bank accounts.
Water drop particles are returning on screen with GTA 6 nearly after 20 years. So, water particles will flow through the camera, just like in Vice City.
More than anything, AI has much to do with GTA 6– like the modified behavior of the Police. You can talk to them! No more need to use the Leave Me Alone cheat code.
GTA 6 Early Access
There is no information regarding the Early Access feature for GTA 6, as the Game is still in its development and initial testing stage. Even so, the developers have not yet confirmed the early access for GTA 6.
You would be able to pre-order GTA 6, but that, too, isn’t possible until 2024 or 2025. Pre-orders come with added bonuses, like exclusive in-game content and special weapons. I know you can’t wait for it anymore, no one though, it is just one more year.

In September 2022, the gaming world witnessed the biggest breach ever. An account named Grand Theft Auto VI posted videos and snapshots from the Game. Almost 90 videos have gone viral since then.
The videos mainly entail the look of GTA 6, showcasing characters, gameplay, and locations. Were the videos authentic? Yeah, the majority of them. The developers have acknowledged this breach and have been working to scrap them out of the Internet.
Certain Twitter users have also noted the presence of a Messenger notification in leaked footage. If this information is accurate, it could mean that the Game will feature chat-based communication among players. But several doubts have been around this rumor.
